2023 in Review… World Tour, Metrics, Awards, Tech Change, and Opportunities
As we reflect on 2023 and the ten year anniversary of ATX, we have a lot to be thankful for. We accomplished a lot this past year, but our greatest highlight is having visited with 79% of our clients in person! While this C+ grade can be improved upon, it far exceeds the F we logged the last several years.
From a client perspective, we worked with over 55 clients and executed 125 projects. Demand continued to be strong for our core services of IT strategy, systems Implementation, and analytics and we launched ATX Data Services, a new product offering that allows clients across all industries to accelerate their data analytics initiatives. AI dominated headlines, accelerating the need for practical use cases brought about by technology change along with new era of hype requiring our perspective to help organizations evaluate technology options.
Last year also marked another year of growth for Team ATX, continuing to add breadth and depth as we welcomed 11 new hires and expanded our team to 30 employees. We hit the road through our Ten Year Anniversary World Tour which included stops in 21 states and the opportunity to get to know our clients better. While we have adjusted to the hybrid nature of much of our work, the ability to work together face to face is extremely energizing as we gear up for the next ten years of ATX.
As a group, we are all extremely proud of the impact of our 5%+ initiative where we donate 5% of profits annually to charitable organizations that make a positive impact on the world around us. In 2023, we were able to support 22 organizations with monetary donations while also helping to fill our local food pantry through multiple volunteer service day collection drives.
We also received some awards that we would never have imagined coming our way including making The INC 5000 list, breaking the top ten as #8 for Best Places to Work in Maine, and recognition as a national leader for AI & Data services.
Our plans for the new year include growth of our core technology strategy, implementation, and analytics services along with the expansion of our hosted data services enabling DIY analytics. The rapid pace of technology change will also usher in the use of AI platforms for secure data analysis along with demand for RPA services. From an industry perspective, we expect to expand on our core industries by placing a renewed focus on industry partnerships and verticalized services. We have outgrown our current space and expect that 2024 will also bring a new home for Team ATX… more on that to follow.
